The Domaine de la Dombes, a park featuring unique accommodations, leisure activities, and a wildlife park, is located less than 45 minutes from the Domaine des Feuilles, in Saint-Paul-de-Varax in the Ain region. This first eco-park has been open since 2012 and offers a wide range of on-site activities.

Visit with an Animal Keeper
Discover the fascinating job of an animal keeper and help care for the animals during a guided visit.
The Domaine de la Dombes offers two private 1-hour tours:
- Ains’tant Soigneur – Learn about the exciting profession of animal care and get hands-on experience.
- Nursery Visit – A special moment to meet and learn about the baby animals.
Through this immersive experience at the heart of the wildlife parks, enjoy a fun and engaging adventure where both children and parents are fully involved and encouraged to get hands-on.
Terms & Booking:
- €60 per visit
- 1-hour private session
- Up to 6 people max (including at least 1 adult)
- “Ains’tant Soigneur” visit: 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM
- Nursery visit: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- From April to November

Tree-Top Adventure Park
A family-friendly park for all ages, set in an idyllic natural environment.
Plenty of options to choose from:
- Baby course
- Tree courses for children and adults (from 1m tall)
- Barefoot sensory trail
- Escape Quest adventure
Prices range from €3 to €21, depending on age and difficulty level.
Massage

CALIFORNIAN MASSAGE (Indoor)
- 60 min: €65 per person – full body
- 30 min: €35 per person – choose 2 areas
- Couple package: 2 × 30 min for €65
(Massages are not simultaneous; they are done one after the other)

Mini golf
While traditional golf may not be for everyone, this version is sure to win over both kids and adults!
A great way to enjoy some family fun — especially since the 9-hole course has just been renovated.
Rates: €6.50 for adults / €5.50 for children (under 10)
9 holes on synthetic grass.
Rental of Rosalie, Duo, or Monobike
A fun and original way to get around and explore the 30 hectares of Domaine de la Dombes. Enjoy a 1-hour ride, choosing to pedal through the animal park or along the pond’s edge.
Rates:
- Rosalie (for 4): €18.50 per hour
- Duo Bike (for 2): €12.50 per hour
- Mono Bike (for 1): €7.50 per hour
On-site bar & snack cabin available for lunch during weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.
